PADSR – ‘I Wait Patiently’ – Single Release – 21st May 2021

‘I Wait Patiently’ by PADSR is his first release on Fox Star Records.

He is currently working on material for his debut album and this song is a taste of things to come.

He wrote the track in New Zealand and finished it after moving to Scotland. It is a beautiful reflection on love, gratitude and the need for patience – particularly suited to the current times.

PADSR grew up in the foothills of the Dublin mountains and was influenced by the nature surrounding the family cottage and later the various countries in the world he has visited. When he was growing up, the city was never too far away but there was just enough space to dream and enjoy the eclectic selection of music on the radio and the many characters living nearby.

As a young boy PADSR lived next door to Woodtown Manor which was owned by Guiness heir Garech Browne whose brother Tara was the subject of the lyrics in the Beatle’s song ‘A Day in the Life’. A number of high profile musicians such as Clannad and U2 frequented the manor and this inspired PADSR to start writing songs.
