Ducks
Ducks were a short-lived garage pop-punk band from Glasgow who released two singles and recorded a long-player that was never released due to the band breaking up. At one point A&R from most majors in the UK were interested in the band but their unusual approach to ignoring important communications meant this was never capitalised upon. Fox Star has recently acquired full rights to the album and will be releasing it in Summer 2020. Fact fans may be interested that Bob Kildea and Richard Coburn from Belle and Sebastian both played in the band at various points. Ducks achieved Single of the month in record Collector for their Shining Moon EP and the album they created is an amazing piece of recording mostly live to tape made with Liam Watson of Toerag Studios.
